Homemade Almond Butter

Pequeño loves homemade almond butter. He asks for it all of the time and has a specific way of eating it. He whines for something to put it on (an apple or pear),
eats all the almond butter off,
Then asks for more almond butter

Pudge's first soccer practice

Pudge has been wanting to play soccer since last year so we were really happy that we found an indoor program for his age.
Dribbling around the cones
Listening to the coach when he was telling the kids not to use their hands.

Cat Lovers

Pudge brought his own change to buy a book at the library this morning. He chose one called A Kitten for Kim. He spent most of the day looking at it and picking out which kitten he wished that he could have. He really wanted to show it to Little Bear and brought it along to pick him up from school. On the ride home, he was begging Little Bear to read it to him so they agreed that they would as soon as they got home.
Afterwards, Pudge wanted to play with his animal figurines and Little Bear decided to build with Legos. He made an animal rescue for Pudge.
That evening, they were both really excited to show Papa the book and the animal rescue. They then began asking for a cat of their own which led to them watching videos of cats doing funny things on YouTube.

Off to school station

We have a "command center" in the kitchen where we have our family calendar, important papers, chore charts etc. but I wanted something closer to the door for getting off to school easily. We have used the closet in the past but I wanted something that gave the younger kids easier access and the ability to hang and grab their own items. So, I transformed the wall near the foyer into an "off to school" station. As with every other area, the kids have designated color-coded areas. They each have a hook for sweatshirts/light weight coats and one for their book bags. Lunch boxes will get placed under the bookbags in the mornings.
