Little Bear's Alien Project

 

For his project, he needed to create his own alien that would live on the planet Mars using a 2-liter soda bottle. Then at school, the students each made "passports" for their aliens which listed information about the planet that they had been assigned and also about features that their alien has to help them survive on the planet. 

He chose to give his alien reflective skin, red feathers (so it can lay on it's stomach to be camouflaged when in danger), many legs (which is also how it absorbs moisture from the ground and then stores the water in the "stomach" like a camel does with it's humps), 3 eyes, and furry hair on top to help keep it warm.

100th Day Project

Pudge's first lost tooth!

Pudge has been anxiously awaiting the loss of his first tooth. He's had three wiggly ones for a few weeks now and was very upset that while at their joint dental appointment (last week) Little Bear's loose tooth fell out during his cleaning (it had been barely hanging on). So he has been brushing his teeth extra well, eating a lot of apples, and wiggling the tooth whenever he remembers. Tonight, he asked for an apple for his snack and after a few bites he started happily yelling "My tooth is out! my tooth is out!" While running around. 

 

Unfortunately, the tooth was dropped and was nowhere to be found yet but we wrote a note for the tooth fairy and he's hoping that she'll still come by.
