This has been a busy week for Little Bear so far because he has had swim lessons in the mornings and soccer camp in the evenings. Last night was his last session for the soccer camp but he has another week and a half of swim lessons. He is doing really well and has been a lot happier to do the lessons since the pool has been warmer this year.
Last year it rained a lot and he (along with some of the other kids) wasn't a fan of getting into a chilly pool. This year, he's jumping right in and going under without hesitation.
They have been working on pushing off of the wall, freestyle, butterfly, and backstroke.
Today he had his favorite lifguard (same one he had last year) for some one-on-one instruction because he was accidentally taking in water. So they were working on when to take breaths.
The younger two have been bringing along a "busy bag" each day which keeps them entertained. They mostly play with animal figurines but also change out other things like coloring books, books, and pirate toys.
