Chilly Park Day

Pequeño, Cuatro, and I spent about an hour and a half at a (new to us) park today. We had driven past it while running errands so on our way back we stopped to check it out. It worked out perfectly because Cuatro was about to fall asleep in his car seat so I quickly nursed him in the parking lot and then wrapped him in the Onya babycarrier and our winter cover. He fell asleep and napped for a little more than an hour.

(Not the most flattering picture but I'm excited that I've finally lost enough weight that I can zip my winter coat over him while he's in the carrier with the winter cover now)

Pequeño "had" to wear his PJs today because the older boys were having "Pajama Day" at school... so he was given the choice to either wear his thermals under them for running errands or change into "real" clothes... you can see how that went.

Now that we know where this park is, I'm sure that we'll come back to it again with the older kids or for playdates. There was a lot for the kids to do in the playground area, a huge grassy area where the kids would love to run around and play soccer, a basketball court, and bathrooms (which is a huge deal breaker for some of our local parks...)

Snow Days

The kids had 3 days off from school thanks to a blizzard named Stella. We ended up with around 25 inches of snow so there was a lot of shoveling, playing in the snow, hot chocolate, foosball games, and crafts over the few days.

Binghamton Children's Museum

The kids had so much fun at the children's museum in Binghamton for their cousin's birthday. It was their first time (and mine) going there but Papa told them all about how he used to go there when he was younger.

They a great time having their own restaurant,

Playing and learning about instruments,

Putting on puppet shows,

Learning about the dentist's office,

"Shopping" at Weis

Learning about sea creatures,

Learning about planes, hot air balloons, space, and a lot more!
