Springtime Fun

Pequeño had an early soccer game this morning. It started raining a few minutes after they started so Papa and Little Bear stayed at the field while Mama and the other kids watched from the van.

After the game, we stopped at our house for a bathroom break and to grab a few supplies for the rest of the day. So the kids played outside while the waited.

Then we headed to the Lehigh Valley Zoo! It was Star Wars Day and Pequeño was excited to do the Jedi Training lesson.

Right before we got into the Otter area, someone had accidentally dropped a shoe into the water. The otters had a blast playing with it but the zoo employees needed to bring them inside while they removed the shoe so we did not see them for too long.

The boys were excited to see Wild Kratts decor in the reptile building. It’s one of their favorite shows!

After this, we had a picnic at the game preserve. Then the kids played in the creek and found a lot of frogs and frog eggs before we went on our hike. It was warm and sunny so I switched Peanut from the moby wrap (my favorite everyday newborn/infant wrap/carrier) to the Infantino sash for the hike to give her better cross ventilation to keep her cool and the hood for sun protection.

Some fun from the hike:
