Pequeño turns 5!

Pequeño was so excited for his fifth birthday because he wanted to be " King for the Day". He told everyone who would listen for days beforehand that on his birthday "everyone has to do what he picks". He was able to pick most of the activities and dinner. Thru spent a lot of the day building with Magnatiles,

playing The Lion Guard board game, watching 102 Dalmations, and swimming.

Then for dinner we had chicken, rice and beans, roasted broccoli, and avocado.

Pool time

The kids have been spending as much of the summer as possible swimming which has been wonderful. Both Little Bear and Pudge have gotten comfortable swimming without their life jackets and are now able to swim laps, dive for sticks, tread water, and swim around with friends. Cuatro is working hard and improving on his skills from swim lessons but currently needs his puddle jumper or life jacket if he doesn't have an adult in with him. We've been having a lot of friends over lately to swim which has been really nice for all of us.

Pequeño and Cuatro's Birthday Party

The kids "Maui and Moana" themed party was great. We had a lot of family who was able to come to celebrate and we're really excited that the kids also got to meet some of their relatives. 

Cuatro turns 1

Cuatro's first birthday was very low key because we have a birthday party scheduled for Cuatro and Pequeño this weekend. 

Cuatro is still cruising around everywhere. He has taken a few steps randomly but isn't yet walking. 

He loves to play with his brothers and babbles at them all of the time. They think that it's hilarious because he looks so serious when he is talking at them. 

He also likes to tell the "nonononono" when they have something that he wants. 

His favorite foods are Avocado, Bananas, Refried Beans, and Scrambled Eggs. He gets really excited and screeches any time he gets to eat them. 

On his birthday, we spent part of the day at Costco to prepare for the party. 

Breastfeeding is going strong and we are hoping to continue to age 2.
