Off to school station

We have a "command center" in the kitchen where we have our family calendar, important papers, chore charts etc. but I wanted something closer to the door for getting off to school easily. We have used the closet in the past but I wanted something that gave the younger kids easier access and the ability to hang and grab their own items. So, I transformed the wall near the foyer into an "off to school" station. As with every other area, the kids have designated color-coded areas. They each have a hook for sweatshirts/light weight coats and one for their book bags. Lunch boxes will get placed under the bookbags in the mornings.
